Responsibilities:

   - Oversee from a technical perspective,  multiple teams of software
   developers to design, code, and unit test new features and modifications.
   - As a technical  manager, you must be willing to work with business and
   client representatives to build out and prioritize requirements.
   - Expected to provide estimates, work with PMs to develop project plans,
   manage resource skills matrix and allocations, and monitor project
   timelines.
   - Participate in the design and implementation of complex application
   features.
   - Also coach and mentor team members on compliance with good software
   design practices, coding standards and defined specifications



Qualifications Mandatory:

   - Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, or related field,
   or equivalent work experience required, with two additional year of
   experience required for each year of college not attained.
   - 10+ years of senior development and / or technical development
   leadership experience of demonstrated excellence in an information systems
   environment;
   - Must demonstrate proven track record of leadership with experience
   managing complex development teams;
   - Must also have experience and success in leading a work group(s) and
   direct customer contact.
   Experience managing customer requirements or demands
   - Thorough understanding in assigned technical discipline and knowledge
   of older and newer Windows platforms, VB, .NET, Relational Databases, Visual
   Studio and Team Foundation Server, JAVA, ERP Systems such as SAP with
   advanced knowledge of at least one or more products; SOA experience
   - Must have worked in an onshore\offshore delivery model
   - Strong skills in SLDC methodologies
   - Excellent communication skills;
   - Ability to build and maintain successful teams and business
   relationships;
   - Ability to examine and re-engineer operations and procedures,
   formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and
   procedures.
   - Analyze comprehensive business processes, perform in-depth work
   analyses, and develop detailed technical solution designs.  Strong
   influencing skills;

Along with Java the candidates need to have the following:

PLM (Product lifecycle management)



Desired:

PMP Certified a plus; Manufacturer or Retail knowledge is also a plus.

   - Must have worked in an onshore\offshore delivery model.

   - Basic understanding of PLM concepts (Product LifeCycle Management)
   - Functional Knowledge of the following product - PTC Flex PLM 6.2 or
   higher
   - 3 Years Experience in Flex PLM.
   - 4 Years Experience in Java.
   - Flex PLM customization / Development experience
   - In depth understanding of Flex PLM data model
   - Solid Core Java / J2EE knowledge
   - Good communication and client interaction skills
   - 2-3 years of experience

Responsibilities:

   - The candidate must have an understanding of PLM concepts to use
   throughout the project.
   - Functional knowledge of FlexPLM 6.2 or higher is required.
   - The candidate will be responsible for providing high quality
   deliverables in the client's FlexPLM environment.
   - Suggest improvements to the environment and application.
   - Demonstrate the value of being a team player through his/her actions.
   - Communicate effectively and efficiently with the client and project
   team members.
   - Execute under accelerated timeframes.
   - Adapt to quickly changing priorities.
