Please send the resume to *himanshu.ve...@infogium.com* <himanshu.ve...@infogium.com> Position – ETL Tester Location – Cincinnati, OH Duration – 12+months ETL Tester *Position Description:* The tester supports quality assurance programs and processes in alignment with QA strategy. The tester is responsible for providing feedback on artifacts developed during requirements and analysis phase within client projects; authoring test cases; and performing test execution for both project and support related activities. The testers will be performing manual testing and have an opportunity to participate in automated test development/execution. *Essential Job Functions:* Work within an Agile methodology Validate data from the data sources through each step of the extract and transformation process including final load in the data warehouse Develop and review test plans and test scripts Ensure accurate data and reporting, in terms of content and infrastructure by researching and identifying source of errors Understand the data model and ETL flow. Write SQL scripts to extract data from various databases and systems and compare against data warehouse Perform root cause and trend analysis to identify recurring patterns of errors Ensure data standars/integrity are maintained in order to deliver the highest quality products Participate in Story and Acceptance Criteria review session Manage test coverage based on risk analysis Document defects and evaluate priority of defect based on overall application functionality Coordinate Test case/script reviews with stakeholders, as appropriate Perform various types of testing including white box, integration, back-end DB validation, system testing, and end-to-end, as needed Adhere to requirement review, defect writing & test script writing guidelines Coordinate testing efforts between 3rd party testing team.
