*Position : C++ Developer* *Location: Dallas, TX* *Duration: 12+ months * *Interview: Phone then Face to Face* *Must be currently in DALLAS* *MUST HAVE RECENT LINUX EXPERIENCE * *MUST HAVE RECENT LINUX EXPERIENCE * *Job Description:* Design, develop, and test software in C/C++ and shell scripting languages on Linux systems Accountable for architecture and all the technical aspects of the application Write design, user and test documentation autonomously Analyze existing software to determine areas for continuous improvement Work with other leads to plan sprints and deliver solutions for business requirements (user stories) Participate in project planning activities – breakdown of requirements into tasks, resource and duration estimation, etc. Create functional and technical documentation as required – this may include use case realizations, detailed technical designs, etc. *Skills Required:* 5+ years of professional experience Strong programming skills in C/C++ and shell scripting languages (e.g., bash) on Linux platforms (Java experience in addition is a plus) Experience with automated testing frameworks and continuous integration systems Experience with Agile and traditional software development methodologies and excellent working knowledge of best practices in each Experience with relational database systems (we use PostgreSQL) Experience with CVS and Subversion. Experience with Git and others is a plus.
