*Job Description:*

*Qualifications*

·         Experience in IT Infrastructure standards and process development
are required.

·         Business Analyst experience including the use of best practices.

·         Strong analytical skills including a thorough understanding of
how to interpret customer business needs (especially infrastructure related
needs) and translate them into application and operational requirements.

·         Proven ability to comprehend technical systems and processes and
possess the technical knowledge needed to work with the infrastructure,
development and quality assurance teams at a detailed level.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability
to interact professionally with a diverse group of subject matter experts.

·         The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and the
ability to work well with other business areas, often under tight deadlines.

·         Strong problem solving and decision making skills.

·         Typical candidates will possess 7-10 years of relevant experience
and BA/BS Degree or equivalent.

·         Understands complex business processes and is able to document
them in a logical and comprehensible manner.

·         Infrastructure SME

·         Advanced experience with Microsoft Word; Intermediate experience
with Microsoft Visio

·         Possesses familiarity with a variety of development methods,
including agile and waterfall, and how it applies to own area of work.
Familiarity with Project Management Work Breakdown structures.

·         UML behavioral and structural diagrams; UI / UX

·         Maintains current knowledge of industry and business process
trends and is able to apply that knowledge to existing business processes
with a focus towards process improvement.

·         Functions independently with limited work direction.

·         Strong organizational, time management skills and teamwork skills.

·         Manages traceability of requirements across the project



*Responsibilities:*

·         Partner with and engage in a high level of interaction with the
business and project team to define scope, gather and create business
requirements for the functional requirements of the project.

·         Elicit and build requirements using interviews, document
analysis, business need statements, use cases, business scenarios, task and
workflow analysis and coordinate business sign off.

·         Facilitate requirements gathering sessions to understand and
document complex business needs, often eliciting hidden requirement and/or
clarifying vague or unclear requirements.

·         Create workflow diagrams to document current and future business
environment.

·         Ensure accuracy of functional requirements/specifications for
handoff to development team.

·         Track progress of projects to ensure alignment to requirements;
manages any deviations from requirements, alongside the Project Manager, to
ensure resolution.

·         Acquire the technical knowledge and understanding of the systems
and requirements at a very detailed level including an understanding of the
data points and sources, system dependencies and interactions.

·         Create business requirement documentation that is thorough and
complete and follows company standards as well as Business Analysis best
practices

·         Work closely with Project Manager for duration of project acting
as a conduit between the business teams and the Infrastructure and/or
software development team as it relates to business requirement
specifications.

·         Identify and recommend appropriate strategic solutions
(applications and workflows), ensuring development is within scope and will
address the business needs.

·         Coordinate ongoing change orders to the business requirements
working with the Project Manager on prioritization and impact.

·         Provide recommendations on potential opportunities for further
enhancements and present recommendations to Project Manager.

·         Engage with Quality Assurance Team by contributing to and
reviewing test scenarios / supporting QA team throughout testing life
cycles.



*Summary:*

·         This position will oversee and coordinate the activities of
multiple business analysts within multiple projects.

·         The lead must be an expert on the process and best practices for
conducting requirements elicitation, scope management and UAT.



*In addition to performing Sr. Business Analyst activities, a Lead will: *

·         Coordinate and oversee the work of other BAs as it relates to
specific projects.

·         Mentor another BA’s in the team.

·         Oversee the Business Process Model development efforts, report to
PMs and/or Pgm’s on project related work and provide status on BA related
activities, works with the PM/PGM to manage the relationship and
expectations of the IT team and the Business Partners, works with business
leaders, PMs/Pgm and acts as a liaison between IT and business units,
coordinates, communicates and escalates issues to the PGM/Project Managers.



*Other Responsibilities:*

·         Directs all BA activities within a project

·         Lead and direct Sr BA’s within specified project

·         Analyze, manage, and report BA activities

·         Manage cross project requirements and escalated issues within
specified program

·         Manage program requirement interdependencies

·         Communicate appropriately to program lead BA, stakeholders and
program managers/project managers

·         Request the needed BA’s for a project and get them oriented to
work on the project

·         Direct completion of project BA objective, such as scope,
requirement, analysis and solutions, business process modeling, UAT, and
customer training

·         Ensure product deliverables’ quality, such as functional
specifications, logical and physical data design, solution design and
detailed design, UAT test plans, and completed solution

·         Resolve issues in a timely manner. When appropriate, escalate
problems and issues to program lead BA, program manager /project manager
and/or stakeholders and sponsor

·         Evaluate requirement risks and assess possible outcomes

·         Monitor individual BA performance and provide feedback to program
lead BA and/or resource managers and/or program/project mangers

·         Direct and delegate BA work effort

·         Maintain communication with customer and team members and promote
a team environment.
