*Position : Scrum Master* *Location : Doral, FL * *Duration : 12+ Months contract with extension * *Interview: Phone / Skype* *This candidate must have:* · two of the following certifications: CSM, CSPO, ACP · Excellent communication skills · 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master * Job Description* · The Technical eBusiness – Scrum Master role requires significant focus in planning and strategizing on process improvement and finding ways to increase Team’s effectiveness, efficiency and productivity. * Job Responsiblities* • Ensures team compliance with agile methodology and DTS agile framework as well as all necessary artifacts in accordance with Agile methodology, System • Design Methodology (SDM) and all external processes and workflows that are dependencies for ensuring timely delivery of software with a high level of quality. • Provides recommendations to Scrum team on how to increase effectiveness and efficiencies with a keen eye on process improvement opportunities • Maintains a clear and consistent channel of communication with the DTS Pipeline manager, • WebOps team (Interactive Marketing) and Business representatives to ensure timely and effective communication of statuses and any issues that may be impacting teams delivery. • Owns and maintains the TFS tool as it pertains to execution within a sprint. • Maintains the TFS team dashboard for all relevant metrics • Responsible for ensuring that the TFS tool is utilize effectively by the Scrum team • Servant Leader – Must be able to garner respect from his/her team and be willing to get their hands dirty to get the job done • Conduct and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, grooming sessions, product reviews, sprint retrospective, etc) • Coach team on Agile mindset and *Scrum methodology* • Track and approve hours worked by team members in portfolio management tool • Track, monitor and manage budget for scrum team • Point person for communication and escalation back to product owner • Champion for continuous improvement in processes and standards within scrum team • Promote and provide environment for feedback, team communication and innovation • Ensure team is meeting sprint goals and release milestones • Create all required artifacts for deployments to UAT (user acceptance test) and production environments. • Ensures all entry criteria for UAT and production are met *Education:* • Bachelor’s degree in a technology related field or the equivalent related technical work experience in management of large Agile technology projects or program. Must have CSM *Job Requirement* • A candidate for this position typically has between 7 to 10 years of experience in application development/Scrum Master/IT Project Management of which at least 5 years have been in a Scrum Master position. • The applicant must hold a working knowledge of technology appropriate tool sets and relevant operating systems. • Highly effective oral and written communication, a customer-service orientation, the ability to work in a team environment, accepting guidance, and following directions are paramount to the success of this role. *Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:* Technical and soft skills should include experience in analysis, design, construction and management of high volume web applications. Inclusive of the following: • Understand basic fundamentals of iterative development • Understand other development processes and methodologies and can leverage other • techniques to provide value to the team/enterprise • Understand basic fundamentals of software development processes and procedures • Understand the value of commitments to delivery made by a development team • Understand incremental delivery and the value of metrics • Understand backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition • Familiarity with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better • development practices • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Strong written and verbal skills • Strong vendor management skills • Strong experience in demand management • Solid budget and financial analysis skills • Solid experience with Microsoft project, project management tools, spreadsheets and Visio • Solid understanding of ASP.NET and C# concepts • ASP.NET MVC. • Web form page life cycle. • Caching, session state, cookie management, view state, POST and GET. • JavaScript, jQuery and other emerging client side development technologies.
