LOCATION: Lorain, OH, 44847 Required skills: Sr. Java/J2EE Developer with enterprise web service development experience to join their team for a 6 month plus project. As the Senior J2EE Developer,You will work with a team of full time developers in order to convert a current C# .NET application into a service oriented architecture. You will be the senior developer on the team. You must have proven experience in leading, teaching and training team members on Web Services, SOA and JBoss. You must also have proven experience in making recommendations on technical direction. Be consultative on best practices, salability, and architecture direction. Skills: - Minimum of 5 years software development experience using Java. - Strong technical experience working with Java EE 7, Web services (REST and SOAP), UNIX Scripting, JBoss, SQL, and Oracle. - Ability to effectively share technical information and train and coach existing team members. - Advanced skills with Eclipse or other IDEs. - Experience with JUnit & automated testing is a plus. - Basic understanding of .NET C# is a plus. - Strong analytical, problem solving, multitasking, and time management skills with consistent attention to detail. - Strong leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach a team of developers. - High level of teamwork skills (communication, ability to share ideas and solutions for work challenges).
