Job Description

Support the team in all production and non-production operations activity
including problem resolution, cycle support and configuration management
related to their specific operations. Pay close attention to detail and the
surrounding implications of all actions, be able to multi-task, and be
independent and self-motivated with the desire and work ethic to thrive and
excel in a critical application support.



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

   - Provide Operations support for State of Arizona Enterprise Resource
   Planning system.
   - Monitor operations 24X7 of State ERP with special attention to
   inter-agency batch processing.
   - Deal effectively and quickly with all major business impacting IT
   queries, issues or complaints.
   - Daily service reporting of operational status to all areas and all
   levels.
   - Act as a liaison between the State of Arizona business / support areas
   and external vendors including the co-ordination and escalation of
   application and infrastructure teams.
   - Act as a customer-facing point of contact for production operations in
   dealing with complex IT and business queries, complaints, etc.
   - Coordinate and oversee the resources across the technical and business
   community, including second and third line support teams, to ensure that
   focused technical and business investigations are carried out to protect,
   reinstate or improve service availability.
   - Ensuring compliance and adherence to the State of Arizona financial
   management business policies, statutes, operations and IT standards.
   - Familiar with IT Service recovery process / Major Incident Management
   including Business continuity management in critical situations.
   - Ability to co-ordinate incident resolution when dealing with multiple
   support areas and / or suppliers.
   - Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to provide
   clear, effective communication regarding technical issues and impact to the
   management.
   - Time management, attention to detail, expectation setting and
   organizational skills to provide solid service management.
   - Coordinate with tier 1 hosting service provider and help desk for
   operations related matters.

Additional Information

   - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of 5 years
   of systems administration experience is required.
   - Application server administration is required and WebSphere is
   preferred.
   - Experience with CGI Advantage platform is a huge plus.
   - Experience with IBM Maximo/ IBM Tririga, SAP Business Objects is a
   plus.
   - Experience in supporting any ERP financial solution is a plus.
   - Experience in supporting Java based application environments is a plus.
   - Experience in Control-M is a plus.
   - Experience in WSO2 platform is a plus.

Experience in network troubleshooting.

Experience in Power shell scripting.

Experience in SFTP / FTP over SSH
