All events that occur on the Data Networks will be seen by these individuals and reacted to, first by opening a Remedy trouble ticket and resolving or escalating issue to fruition. Today the network management is outsourced 100%. This position is necessary to monitor, detect, analyze, and invoke the proper recovery procedures resolve network outages, and respond to service requests and response time issues. · Responsible for monitoring, maintaining, analyzing, and troubleshooting of all systems within Customer’s Infrastructure including LAN/WAN, and telecommunications systems. · This is a globally accessible, high availability, fast paced and business critical 24x7 environments. The operations functions are accomplished by using monitoring tools (i.e., HP Open View, Solar Winds, Cisco Works, etc.) relative to the activities across the Enterprise. · A key responsibility includes the effective and accurate communication, both oral and written, of initial problems with timely follow-through on fault isolation progress, appropriate escalations and final resolution reporting.
