*Job Title: Senior Solutions ArchitectWork Location: NYC, NYDuration: 12+ Months contract * *Job Summary* - 10+ years in architecture / application development. - Strong business knowledge. - Ability to communicate effectively with business leaders, application developers and systems technology experts. - Ability to coordinate efforts from diverse groups. - Ability to work well at a conceptual level, and to drive concepts out into workable solutions. - Ability to define target state architectures, and develop transition plans for achieving target state. - Familiarity with industry standard architecture frameworks (Zachman, TOGAF) and widely accepted modeling standards (e.g. UML, ERDs). - Deep experience in at least one technical subject area (e.g. database, application development, performance tuning, etc.). - Strong data architecture skills. - Experience with data modeling. - Broad exposure to a variety of applications, technologies and business functions. - Experience in multiple development platforms, including HP Non-Stop (Tandem), mainframe (zOS) and distributed (AIX, linux). - Experience with high-volume transaction processing and large databases.
