Please ensure they are having Java Background with any cloud mainly or .net with Azure only. *Job Title – Cloud Technology Architect* *Positions – 4* *Location- Monroe, LA* *Duration- Long term* Key Responsibilities - Work closely with a cloud technology and own it from technical standpoint - Provide solutions for the particular cloud technology - Be the SPoC in the organization for any business requirements for the particular cloud technology, to develop solutions, use cases and PoCs - Own the product strategy / short and long term plan for growing business for the particular technology - Interact with the technology partner for business opportunities, solutions, joint go-to-market etc - Proliferation of technology in the organization – webinars, talks, mailers and other media - Create thought leadership artifacts - Participate in external forums / workshops / events and promote the expertise of organization in the particular cloud technology Key Skills Candidate should have knowledge of all aspects of cloud, with detailed working experience in at least one of the below mentioned specialized area *1. *IaaS a. Infrastructure requirement understanding, strategic planning b. Capacity planning and designing c. Deployment of servers and acceptance into cloud services d. Should be able to customize best practices and implement them in cloud infra space e. Infra monitoring and RCA f. Having good understanding on Virtualization technology (any one out of VMware/Xen/KVM/Hyper-V etc.) g. Good conceptual knowledge on cloud management and other services from infra perspective. h. Good communication skills and ability to keep the Sr mgmt. updated *2. *PaaS a. Platform requirement understanding, strategic planning b. Typical platform expertise Azure, BMC CLM, Eucalyptus and through knowledge of how it works c. Platform Capacity planning and designing d. Platform configuration automation, e. Designing adoption strategies and initiatives f. RCA, platform monitoring tool aware g. Good communication skills and ability to keep the Sr mgmt. updated *3. *SaaS (application technologies should be added specifically) a. Exposure to specific technology b. Application rationalization expert c. Should be able to design roadmap for migration d. Should be able to prepare roadmap, migration design e. Migration support and RCA f.
