Position: Functional Tester Duration: Fulltime (FTE) Location: Dallas, TX Relevant Experience Required: 4-6 years Education: BE/ B-Tech. or Equivalent Required Skills: * Experience in Media, Video Streaming domain is mandatory * Tools experienced: HP QC, JIRA (preferred). Skill sets: * Ability to understand business requirements, write test cases and execute test cases, Experienced in device, CE testing. * Defect Management - defect logging, tracking, analysis, and validation. * Strong understanding of Quality Control and Quality Assurance. * Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle. * Prior Experience with Similar Mobile Testing Projects Mandatory. Roles & Responsibilities: * Requirement Analysis and Test Scenario development. * Development of the manual test scripts. * Set up and execution of the manual test scripts. * Logging & recording of the test outcomes or results. * Daily reporting of the progress/status of the test execution. * Analysis and recovery from the execution errors. * Assist with the maintenance of the test scripts library; * Status Reporting * Fosters an environment of continuous improvement and open communications. * Able to co-ordinate onshore and offshore team. * Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other IT Services, IT Solutions functions and external customers to expedite delivery of IT solutions.
