Job Title : .Net Developer Location : Columbus,OH Duration : 6+ Months Contract *Note : Experience working with State Dept and Medical/Healthcare/HL7 is Must * Qualifications: The Application Developer candidate that is selected must have 3+ years experience with C# .NET and Enterprise Web application development projects. The programmer must have experience in developing n-tier web based applications and understand the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The programmer that is selected must have experience working with large web application development efforts and possibly have experience working with end users to gather requirements for new and/or enhancements of an existing system. The candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work within deadlines. This position requires the ability to deeply understand, develop and document granular business issues. This candidate should be a self-sufficient and highly effective at managing time and be able to be an effective team player. Knowledge of Rational Unified Process and Agile development methodologies preferred. Previous experience with developing disease surveillance and/or electronic lab reporting systems is a plus. The programmer shall conduct knowledge transfer sessions to state staff members in order for state staff members to obtain long term goals.
