*Title:* Webmethods Administrator *Location:* Reston, VA
*Duration:* 12+ Months *Job Requirements:* Lead middleware administrator with knowledge of Webmethods 6,7,8: IS, MWS, TN, Broker, database components, and adaptors. Core responsibilities of this position include environment setup, code deployments, maintenance, and advising other staff on webMethods administration. Partnering with the development teams will be required to troubleshoot production issues, determine root causes, and implement solutions. Work with a team that also supports: weblogic, apache, tomcat and Oracle Fusion Middleware. *Required Technical Skills:* · Minimum 5 years admin experience with webMethods in operational support role; few years of development experience preferred. · Minimum 5 years experience in Linux environment. · Experience troubleshooting issues related to webMethods installation, configuration or performance. · Experience upgrading webMethods from 7/8. · Working knowledge of at least one additional middleware product: Weblogic, apache, or tomcat. · Working knowledge of databases, networking, and SSL protocols. · Ability to review application requirements and determine the configuration needed to support the application. · Ability to participate in meetings with other technical teams to understand infrastructure changes which may affect the middleware environment. · Strong interpersonal skills including team collaboration, leadership, presentation, and organizational, verbal and written communication skills · Ability to work independently as well as in a diverse team from various technology backgrounds.
