Job Title : System Engineer position Location : Owings Mills , MD Duration : 6+ Months Contract Rate : $35/hr on C2C. *Must-haves* HP Blade Hardware - Senior (3-5 years) Windows Server (2003 and 2008) - Senior (3-5 years) MSCS Clustering - Intermediate (1-3 years) Operational Support (server maintenance, replacing servers) -OS and hardware support -GREAT PERSONALITY, no arrogance, they want someone who has a go-getter mentality that is not above doing any type of job duties *Plusses* HP Rapid Deployment - Intermediate (1-3 years) SAN configurations - Intermediate (1-3 years) SQL - Intermediate (1-3 years) IIS - Intermediate (1-3 years) Enterprise level experience *Day-to-Day* As part of the Hagerstown Data Center build-out, servers supporting tier 1 and 2 Infrastructure components and applications will need to be migrated from the Red Run DC to the HTDC. This effort will likely require many existing DR, Production and Qual server to be rebuilt to meet recovery standards. This position will participate in all phases of this project including, investigation, data migration and server rebuilds. ******Provide daily administrative support for the NTS Infrastructure team. This position will require off hour and on-call support. The on-call rotation is shared between all NTS teams.The successful candidate will work with the Windows Server Infrastructure team to assist in daily operational activities such as monitoring server health, servicing help desk tickets and deploying servers.
