The position is located in downtown Chicago and is conveniently located within walking distance of major transportation hubs. Scope: Our client is currently in need of a consultant to help build a system to view internal messaging systems. You will develop, enhance, maintain this application with C++ language. These applications are object oriented C++ client-server applications and support HFT Trade messaging systems. Job Description: Must have expertise in writing client/server applications using C++ on Linux platforms. Strong ability to learn existing applications quickly and to be able to make modifications to them. Strong experience with messaging, XML. Must have used source control like SVN or GIT would be preferred.
