The role is to be a Program Manager, so higher level than a PM. The person will need to interact between the two organizations and work with our technical architects to develop a plan for the integration. There are 4 locations involved, 2 of which are call centers. They are supported currently from a single data center which is integrated with their current corporation’s other applications. Candidate needs to have experience with data center migration, and someone who will be sensitive to the politics of mergers/acquisitions. Program Manager Location:- San Diego CA Duration:- 1 Year Rate: $65/hr on C2C Start:4/6/15 NEED ONLY LOCALS FOR THIS! *Responsibilities:* · Provide expert leadership and oversight to highly complex, visible and large budget programs and bring successful completion on time, on budget and to customer satisfaction delivering project business benefits. · Provide expert management of risk management plans to decrease the probability and impact of events adverse to the project. · Provide appropriate communication for integration effort that may require adjustment · Manage conflicting projects, environments, and resources and recommend appropriate sequencing/mitigation plan. · Plan and support the delivery of environments as required by projects. · Act as liaison between internal projects and technology teams as well as external partners and clients. · Understand planning iterations for the individual projects as well as inter-project dependencies. · Manage a group of related projects running concurrently for a business line through assigned project team. · Contribute and manage program/project management methodology development and develop Project Management skills in assigned project managers. · Translate business and corporate initiatives in the program into strategic project tracts by proper prioritization. · Managing complex multi-function delivery relationships with executive leadership, establish relationships of trust with management and colleagues; and driving consensus across the organization on difficult topics. · Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiation and reconcilement of vendor invoices and hold vendor accountable to cost/schedule/quality deliverables. Effectively manage vendor code release management. · Interact with all areas of IT for risk/issue management and escalated problem resolutions. · Interact with executive leadership (Business Unit VP, ITSS CIO and Senior Leadership) on a regular basis for program status communication, financial updates · Support release and change management processes as well as integration with Corporate Manage to the financial budget and schedule established for the program.
