Acts as member of the Incident Response (IR) team, and participates in cybersecurity incident response (IR) and recovery operations. * Deliverables* The scope of work to be performed includes the following: The chosen candidate shall be responsible for providing daily support to CLIENT’s information security infrastructure. This includes working with Department and Agency for State Technology (AST) staff and providing tier III information security support for the Department’s customers. The chosen candidate shall report directly to the Information Security Team – Information Security Operations Manager * The specific scope of** work includes:* Assist with planning, implementation and tuning of the Department’s· SIEM (Splunk). Support Internet monitoring appliance (iBoss) and maintain site block· list. Support and maintain Trend antivirus software functionality on· servers and client systems. Monitor Cisco IDP/IPS for information security threats and· advise/participate in response actions. Act as a member of the Computer Security Incident Response Team· (CSIRT). Support administration of secure messaging and second factor· authentication capabilities. Develop and maintain technical specifications, standards, procedures,· and systems documentation. Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve antivirus software issues with· minimal impact on users. Researches and recommends appropriate technical solutions to meet· functional requirements. Provides recommendations for possible process improvements within the· CLIENT information security team. *MANDATORY *Technical/Business Skill Set Requirements (must be clearly stated on the resume and verifiable via reference checks) Our Client is seeking an on-site, Network Architect throughout the contract duration of this RFQ.
