*Job Description:*

McDonald’s, one of the most recognized brands in the world, is seeking a
skilled and experienced Web Development Lead within the Digital Engagement
Platform (DEP) team. The Digital Engagement team partners with countries
and advertising/marketing agencies throughout the world to build, deploy,
and manage consumer facing digital solutions.  Our properties include
national marketing websites such as McDonalds.com (US) and McDonalds.se
(Sweden), specialty marketing websites such as mcdaag.com, and data
services for delivering information about our restaurant locations and food
products.



A successful candidate should have at least 3 years of experience with AEM
(must have experience with 6.x) and the ability to both develop and define
architectural solutions on AEM 6.x.  This position is for a multifaceted
role with responsibilities across various product and stakeholders that
span across the AEM platform.  They should be able to make recommendation
to ensure proper developmental designs as well as review existing
architectures and help build out the appropriate system design to deliver
the organizational needs.  They will be required to lead multiple cross
functional digital projects, partnering with multiple stakeholders
including markets, agencies, vendors, and internal team members (including
offshore team).



An integral part of the Global IT Development organization based at
McDonald’s headquarters in Oak Brook, IL, the Digital Engagement team has
established itself as a go-to resource and partner for delivering
outstanding digital experiences to consumers worldwide.  The successful
candidate will have the opportunity to fortify the Digital Engagement
business value proposition, drive increasing levels of country/customer
participation/satisfaction, enhance McDonald’s digital content and
marketing capabilities, and grow our overall value as a global center of
digital engagement expertise, thought leadership, and best practices.



Release Comments: This person will manage work and tasks for employees and
other consultants.  The desire is for a Web Development Lead. They are
looking for someone who has a strong technical background with experience
with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) who can lead (manage) projects. They
are not looking for straight Project Managers because they do not have the
technical AEM knowledge they are seeking.

*General Description:*

As a member of the development team the individual will perform the
installation, configuration and day-to-day tasks associated with ensuring
the smooth and efficient operation of a WebSphere and IIS server runtime
environment on a Windows server platform housing the corporate WebSphere
commerce applications.


This includes:

·  Product installation and configuration

·  Configuration of Microsoft IIS services

·  Installation and deployment of J2EE applications

·  Installation and deployment of .NET applications

·  Connecting to back-end resources including datasources

·  Server and application server troubleshooting

·  Using scripts for automating day-to-day tasks

·  Gathering the data for performance tuning

·  Monitoring and management of the end-to-end application performance
monitoring solution

·  Configuration of application server security

·  Application server DR administration

·  Production support (on call 24X7)

·  Installation of Apar/fix packs, patches.
· Configuration changes (Web server, App server)
· Running clean up jobs (WCS)
· SSL Certification related activities
· Start and Stop instance as needed or required by policies.

·  Experience with Middleware integration and troubleshooting skills.

·  Installation of WebSphere Commerce System software.

·  Authenticate, create and manage WebSphere Commerce System user accounts,
privileges, profiles, roles and resource usage areas. Perform periodic
'housekeeping' activity on the WebSphere Commerce System with the objective
of providing efficient use of WebSphere Commerce

·  System resources.
· Reviewing and responding to incidents and service requests specifically
related to the WebSphere Commerce System. Data load and Solr indexing.
· Proactively monitor and maintain the commerce sites and related systems,
including monitoring, capacity planning, operational services, integration
of
enhancements, and other administrative efforts that pertain to the
environment.
· Installation and configuration of IBM WebSphere Commerce V7 and V8 on
Linux, AIX and Windows.
· Maintain environments by applying necessary fixpacks/feature packs.
· Configure IBM WebSphere WCBD build & deployment tool for Commerce
applications.
· Experience with Dataloads and trouble shooting.
· Installation and configuration of DB2 for WebSphere Commerce.
· Analyze and troubleshoot issues in WebSphere Commerce at the jvm level.
· Support for IBM websphere commerce, IBM http server, and how the
application can be scaled and handle load.
· Provide Java EE application deployment, and troubleshooting support for
development groups on WCS platform
· Use ksh/Jython scripts for automated installation and configuration tasks
· Design, implement, and refine wsadmin/Jython and korn scripts in support
of application deployments
· Problem determination using log file and Java stack trace analysis

·  This administrator is generally self-sufficient and is able to perform
most of the tasks involved in the role with limited assistance from peers,
product documentation and vendor support services.

·  Understanding of Windows server operating systems

·  Basic load balancing, clustering and failover techniques

·  Troubleshooting and problem determination skills

·  Experience in working with version control systems. (subversion)

·  Strong communication and organizational/planning skills

·  Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

·  Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

·  Expert level skill set in WebSphere version 7/8 Administration running
in Windows /Linux environment

·  Expert level skill set in IIS/Apache/IBM HTTP Server Administration

·  Knowledge of App Dynamics Monitoring Tool will be a plus.

·  Expert in setup of Deployment manager, Nodes, WAS clusters, SSL
configuration and application deployment

·  Knowledge on Databases – SQL Server

·  Performance Tuning and Optimization

·  Expert in Windows scripting and Automation of jobs

·  Monitoring and Trouble shooting skills on Windows.

·  Install, configure, and administer WebSphere Commerce 7/8 stack of
products on Windows/Linux servers in development, testing, staging, and
production environments

·  Install and configure source control to integrate with WebSphere Commerce
