Developed in 2009, the SWPRDB runs on a SQL Server 2008 database with an Access 2010 user interface. Primarily used to track internal workflows and permit compliance data, the database represents a core critical function of the Department. Although DA&P is the primary database administer and owner, technical coding support is required. This position will be responsible for ensuring continued SWPRDB functionality through routine maintenance and updates. In addition, the Department is engaged in the development of a data warehouse/business intelligence solution (known as RAMsys) that will extract, load and transform data from the SWPRDB as part of a regulatory obligation with the State and Federal government.
