Please forward your resumes to *suren...@softhq.com* <suren...@softhq.com> *Role: J2EE Technology Lead* *LOCATION: ATLANTA, GEORGIA* *Duration: 6+ Months* *SUMMARY OF POSITION:* Perform detailed analysis of the existing BTS TV Caller Id solution and provide migration plan for new, supportable and sustainable platform. This would include geo-redundant architecture, scaling and virtualization of solution and performing interoperability testing and validation with the rest of the solution. *POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:* 1. Provide detailed analysis for life-span of existing solution based on Weblogic and Oracle DB. 2. Develop plan for migration to new, supportable and sustainable platform for any end-of-life issues identified with Oracle middleware, the operating system and/or hardware platform. 3. Design and Develop architecture for scaling solution from just serving BTS subscribers to serving all subscribers. 4. Develop geo-redundant architecture for solution. 5. Analyze possibility of virtualization of the solution with what all virtual environments, hypervisors be supported. 6. Perform interoperability testing and validate with the rest of the solution. 7. Perform code changes to fix issues identified during interoperability. 8. Provide technical support and function as escalation point for the operations team. 9. Manage the lab environments for applications currently being developed or updated. 10. Interface with other design groups for networking, database and storage aspects of application design. 11. Provide thorough engineering documentation for all web services products, current and future. 12. Co-ordinate and provide support to offshore team as needed. *QUALIFICATIONS:* 1. Strong understanding of Telecom concepts, IP telephony network IP Multimedia Subsystem. 2. Thorough working knowledge of J2EE, Oracle, Weblogic, UNIX, VMware, XML technologies. 3. Strong skills working with J2EE application servers in large scale, multi-tier environments. 4. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. 5. Prior experience in engineering or operations in enterprise or datacenter environments. 6. Proven ability to acquire new technical skills quickly.
