Location: NYC Rate: Open Duration: 3 Months This role will be short term. Remarks: Along with the resume, please attach an example of the candidate s table query design. Seeking a candidate who is a SME on integrating Access databases with Share Point. The candidate will build a process that will be operationalized in Access. Must have experience designing complex table queries and reports. Experience with macros is a plus. S/he needs to be database oriented, really good at building forms and using infopath to create workflows. Needs to build tools with project management and resource management in mind. S/he will figure out how the inventory remit will be delivered to the company and how every step in the process will be tracked and communicated along the way through Access. A part of this job will include shadowing with a FTE in Stamford to ensure that the FTE will be able to take over the database when the time is right. S/he will not need to do a large amount of data discovery but will be given some data sets that reflect the current landscape and then will be asked to organize it by building database/sharepoint solutions. The most important thing is experience with Access databases and SharePoint (2010). Preference will be given to candidates with RECENT Access and SharePoint experience. The manager is looking for candidates with 5-10 years of experience.
