The candidate should have very good knowledge in PL/SQL, SQL and Oracle database development including stored procedures, database triggers and database packages. The candidate must have more than 5+ years of development experience in Oracle forms and reports. The candidate should have good UNIX experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for this position. Java, .NET or Informatica are a plus. Duties and responsibilities • Design, program, develop, analyze and implement database applications and database objects. • Write or update code documentation, implementation instructions and integration tests for applications. Produce technical documentation in accordance with SDLC guidelines. • Communicate with both technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis to pass along important information and to ensure the design and implements are understood by all parties. • Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize and improve existing database applications and database objects • Develop Oracle forms and reports • Develop database procedures and packages • Develop UNIX shell scripts. • Optimize the existing jobs using SQL/PLSQL tuning methodologies. Required skills • BS or MS in Computer science or related area • At least 5 years of experience with Oracle forms and reports • At least 5 years of experience with Oracle database, SQL/Pl-SQL • Solid background with UNIX system.
