*Duration: 6+ Months* *Positions: 2 (4 slots left)* *Note: Prefer locals* *Job Requirement:* Infrastructure Svcs Analyst II Solves problems, performs analysis, researches, and tests functions for systems and networks. Implements, monitors, and operates systems and networks. Recommends and performs system and network upgrades. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Provides second level trouble support; solves randomly occurring problems. Performs implementation tasks for systems and networks; executes testing. Performs system and network upgrade tasks utilizing change control. Designs and configures vendor services orders for repetitive services and oversees implementation. Compiles data in support of equipment and user relocations or system migrations. Performs simple configuration changes to meet business requirements under supervision. Responds to Level 3 and 4 change and problem requests; participates in level 1 or 2 incident recoveries with minimal supervision. Remains up-to-date on information regarding relevant platform technologies. Forecasts and budgets for production support growth and/or enhancements. Requires Associates degree, technology certification; 1 to 3 years of experience in a support and operations and/or a design role of any of the following areas: servers, networks, telecommunications, storage, mainframe, operating systems, middleware, hardware/software support or other infrastructure services role; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. PC literacy skills and specific technical knowledge of assigned systems, hardware, software and tools required; capable of performing repetitive solution designs without supervision. Scope of Telephony Work • Support of Anthem Work at Home Associates • Use of Anthem tools such as ServiceNow, TSRM, OneVision, Avaya ASA, etc… • Lights On project support such as adding circuits, hardware, software, etc… • Support of Corporate Real Estate projects/requests • Support of facilities requests such as support for power outages • Morning Status Checks - Review system daily upon arrival for errors and alarms. Resolve all errors. • Perform routine backups and system software translations as required. • Work directly with the telecommunications staff, network administrators, and staff for the supported products and end users. • Keeps detailed records, in Anthem’s ticket systems, of MAC tickets, documentation, and emails related to installation and move, add, and change activity. • Keeps detailed records, in Anthem’s ticket systems, of break-fix tickets and activity as requested. • Provide implementation, cutover support and assistance whenever called upon during scheduled working hours. • Gather and analyze logs from Anthem’s systems as necessary. • Follow up with customer contacts to ensure satisfactory completion of work. • Log all work time in automated ticketing system. • Adhere to Anthem’s security policies when accessing their environments • Complete Root Cause Analysis documentation and reviews with major incidents. Root Cause Analysis (RCA) would be provided through the manufacturer’s maintenance agreement.
