1. Should already have atleast 3 yrs of Java development experience. 2. Should have worked in Java, Struts, JavaScript and Oracle (PL-SQL) database technologies. 3. Should have some idea on Hibernate. 3. Should be good in Java and OOPS, and should be able to implement once guided and explained. 4. Should be able to communicate well - need to have minimum writing and speaking skills. 5. Should have good analytical skills, should be able to understand about the impact of code changes, and should be able to highlight issues etc. We (my client) are planning for a week-end drive for Java Developers forBangalore on 10 th and 11th Oct. Below mentioned are the skills details. Work Location: Chennai / Mumbai/ Bangalore. *Java Requirements*: * 1. Communication: Good.** 2. Technology:* *a. Junior Developer : 3-5 years of exp:* * Strong knowledge of the basics of the languages - Core Java and SQL. * Coding - Hands on in Java/SQL in J2EE environment. * Strong knowledge of object oriented concepts (polymorphism, delegation ...) * Implementation of OOPS concepts. * Design concepts. * Interfaces. * b. Senior Developer : 5+ years of exp:* * Same as above requirement with 5+ yrs experience needed. * Write efficient code/query. * In depth knowledge of Java/SQL (ability to explain his choices, optimization, code review...) * In-depth knowledge in design. * SDLC life cycle. * Quality processes. * 3. Expectations* A: Candidates should be able to answer basic questions on the concepts. Expected to give proper definition of the key words as defined in books. B: Candidates should be able to write code in a piece of paper for the given problem. Candidate should be able demonstrate Use of best practices, naming convention, correctness and maintenance/reusability of the code are reviewed in this step . * 4.
