· *Oversee and Manage the deployment of the necessary components to
support a robust Intranet content management system*
· Work with ITP Management to define requirements for development
of an easy to manage and stable local intranet site built on Liferay Portal
platform.
· *Essential Functions *
- Design and maintain application code within the Enterprise Portal
using Java
- Design and develop themes to be used with Enterprise Portal
utilizing HTML4, HTML5, CSS2, CSS3 and JavaScript
- Develop portlets using Plugins SDK, APIs, XML and Java specific web
services, including but not limited to JSR 168, JSR 286 and WSRP
- Deploy plugins including portlets, themes, layout templates, webs
and hooks
- Assist with administration & training of support personnel in
management of Liferay application servers
- *Deliver functional intranet site / content management portal based on
business requirements*
