*ROLE:* Netezza Project Administrator *LOCATION:* Richardson, TX *Length: 3 months* *START DATE:* ASAP ** *Overview:* Consultant must have pervious Netezza installation and Administration experience. This person should be very well versed in Linux and shell scripting (BASH) with experience administering an MPP database. *ROLE DESCRIPTION:* 1. Must have 1-2 yrs of providing daily Netezza administration support to the development team including: A. Security administration B. File system mounting and data transfers C. NZLOAD bulk loads o BASH linux scripting to automate above processes. *(THIS IS A MUST)* D. Database administration Ø Creation/ dropping of new databases and objects Ø Data reclaims Ø Backups Ø Migration of data and objects from one database to another Ø Migration of data between DEV and PROD servers Ø NZ SQL and Store Proc support for developers Ø Process monitoring Ø Performance tuning 2. Candidate will work in a highly decentralized and customer facing environment. 3. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization. 4.
