Oracle Database Administrator
- 5+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration
- 1+ year of experience in Oracle Database Performance Tuning
- Maintenance of all development, test and production databases required by
the applications, including physical database design, definition,
configuration and capacity monitoring, logical or physical data
reorganizations or restructuring, implementation of database maintenance
utilities and procedures.
- Monitor for bottle necks and identify scope for performance tuning,
automate monitoring process by having alert scripts for activities like long
running concurrent requests, held up concurrent manager and database errors,
gather statistics on periodic basis and perform database re-organization on
need basis.
- Coordination and systems consulting as needed to support the application
teams or business units or business functions.
