Here is the contract position. *That candidate(s) must be local and able to go in for an in-person interview*. This is a straight contract position with very high likelihood for extensions. Title: *Sr. Linux (RHEL) Admin* Location: Chicago Duration: 6 months + Shift: 1st Shift *Experience/skills requirements:* - 6 + years experience as a *Linux Systems Administrator*/Engineer. - 3 + years experience with *Red Hat* Operating System, building/configuring on HP DLXXX and BLXXX hardware. - Experience with Red Hat satellite infrastructure and automation. - Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet. - Experience with Sun Solaris and HP-UX. - 2 years experience as a Windows Administration preferred. - Experience in troubleshooting problems with hardware, operating system and related software components. - Good knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, AD, SAN, n-tier architecture, shell scripting such as ksh, bash, csh, ssh. - Be able to provide third level support.
