*Title:* Percussion Content Manager *Location:* Richmond, VA The Content Manager will serve as the sole administrator and content manager for the Proposals Department performing a range of duties including: - Create a content repository/“Proposal Library” by organizing existing documentation via tagging functionality on SharePoint - Proposal Library Maintenance/Administration - Content Categorization - Proposal and Professional Writing - Other proposal tasks as assigned *Essential Job Responsibilities: * *Content Manager Duties * - Library Creation/Maintenance/Administration: Maintains complete, end-to-end administration and maintenance of the proposal content library. Update documents as needed according to latest industry releases and new internal BIAS solutions - Ensure accuracy of all content within the proposal library both initially and with ongoing scheduled reviews - Review expired content and keep all content updated regularly to ensure completeness, accuracy of the information, and quality in accordance with writing style guidelines and standards - Sort and load new content in SharePoint Content Libraries when RFPs are completed, ensuring all historical responses are loaded and available for searching within the library. - Maintain library folder structure, including subfolders to ensure quick searching is enabled to locate content - Combine content where applicable to reduce library content redundancy - Create new, modern content and ways to display content (testimonial boxes, new call-out boxes, resume and case study templates, etc.) - Seek information from BIAS stakeholders to verify the accuracy of library content - Pull and send content to Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on a regular, consistent basis to review for library content accuracy - Conduct Proposal Post Mortems quickly post submittal to capture relevant content and minimize redundancy. - Maintain working relationships with SMEs to refine library entries as BIAS’ markets and services/products evolve *Proposal and Professional Writing Duties: * - Assist the Proposal Team in any RFx (RFP, RFQ, RFI) pursuit - Review with the pursuit team the RFP to assist Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), stakeholders, sales, and proposals to add BIAS boilerplate content in draft creation, reviews, and edits - Assist Proposal Managers and pursuit teams in Shipley reviews/meetings - Organize applicable boilerplate content from repositories - Organize applicable boilerplate content from repositories - Follow all Proposals Department response processes and procedures - Maintain services and product knowledge through participation in demos, self-training through reading materials available, Oracle Partner Network, the Learning Management System (LMS), and Association of Proposal Management Professionals accreditation, etc. - Adhere to all client-specific tailoring and writing style guidelines and standards in order to maintain execution excellence - Create Proposal Style Guides for writing instruction - Participate in all proposal team meetings and other company meetings - Provide assistance in creating/reviewing/editing other materials as needed - Provide professional writing and non-technical content creation as needed - Professional writing for Marketing and Communications content as needed - Formatting, proof reading, one-voicing, editing, and final document presentation as needed *Required Education/Experience :* - Undergraduate College degree required - 5+ Years of Proposal Writing Experience required - 5+ Years of Experience working with a Proposal Library required - Ability to comprehend and interpret complex information quickly and accurately - Must have excellent communication skills – both oral and written - Must work well under pressure with very tight deadlines - Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Excellent writing skills, with a strong ability to summarize data concisely and clearly in a persuasive, tailored manner - Highly organized with strong attention to detail/consistency - Capable of handling numerous, concurrent deadlines - Highly motivated to work with limited supervision - Must be a self-starter *Preferred Education/Experience :* SharePoint and Office 365 knowledge - IT both public and private sector procurement knowledge - Shipley and Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) methodologies/best practices - English or Communications degrees - Technical aptitude preferred - Graphics skills Regards, *Joseph Tess* Senior Recruiter. *AffluentTEK, LLC.
