Usability Tester - QA Tester San Diego, CA 92127 Duration: 1+ Year Max Rate: $25/Hr C2C * // Local Candidates are Preferred //* *Requirements**:* Candidate must be able to demonstrate knowledge of PC’s, Windows (both XP and Vista) and DOS, network mapping, and have familiarity with popular software applications within the following areas: Audio, Video, Network and Security applications for the PC. Candidate must have experience in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), bug reporting (defects), possess troubleshooting and investigative skills, and be able to communicate clearly in verbal/written manner with a high attention to details. This includes following both written and verbal instructions and the ability to provide test results and update tests cases as needed. The candidate will need to pull information from several different sources including databases and spreadsheets. Candidate must be able to work under tight time constraints. Past experience with computer applications and utilities are a plus. Teamwork and communication are essential as well as the ability to work alone. Candidates should have experience in Beta testing software and operating systems. Must possess a flexible working schedule in order to support last minute schedule changes (resulting in longer working days including occasional weekends) Ability to multitasking is a must.
