Needs strong DB2 in addition to SQL. And Lead or Manager skills. SQL Server DBA Lead with strong DB2 Kansas City, MO 6-12 months This person must have strong DB2 skills as well as SQL Server skills (need to be strong in both). They are transitioning so this person must be able to support both. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: · Responsible for data base design, development, and administration for operational and data warehouse systems. · Works with management to set strategic database architecture direction. · Monitors data base performance, availability, and integrity. · Implements data base backup and recovery procedures. · Installs data base changes into development and production environments. · Installs data base software. · Performs on-call duties.
