HouseCalls is a service offered by Optum to members of Medicare Advantage plans, wherein a Nurse Practitioner visits the member s home once a year to conduct a thorough medical health assessment on the member. This is a highly sought after service in the Medicare market with positive clinical benefits for our members and the company. *Responsibilities* - The position is responsible for leading and mentoring the ETL development team - Lead/mentor other ETL developers for implementing best practices and troubleshooting - Provide production support for all ETL processes - Perform technical analysis, ETL design, development, testing, and deployment of IT solutions - Develop Informatica mappings, workflows, and transformations and maintain ETL process to populate data warehouse - Troubleshoot, optimize and tune ETL processes; utilize reusability, parameterization, workflow design, caching, parallel processing and other performance tuning techniques - Perform data analysis through reading thousands of lines of SQL code and document the business logic - Read thousands of lines of SQL code and document the business logic - Create source to target mapping documents, including business logic (data rules) - Create design documents high Level & low Level design documents - Document test cases and test results - Work closely with other subject matter experts to help design and build solutions for a multitude of applications, including batch processing, OLAP and data warehouse architecture *Requirement* - Minimum 7 years of Informatica experience with 2 years in the capacity of a Lead Developer/Tech Lead - Strong experience in building data warehouses using Informatica - Experience in designing, creating ETL's for a large Data Warehouse project - Experience in querying and analyzing data sources to understand the data and determine logic for transformations - Experience with Informatica PowerCenter 8.6 or higher version - Strong technical experience with Oracle exadata, SQL Server, Informatica ETL, SQL, PL/SQL - Must be willing to work diligently to meet project deadlines - Must have experience with Informatica design work - Knowledgeable in performance tuning, load optimization for Informatica batch processes and enforcing repository best practices - Good understanding of star schema and 3rd normal form design - Experience in loading 3rd normal form database as target - Excellent oral, written, and communication skills - Ability to communicate to a variety of audiences in both verbal and written form - Preferred: software development (coding) using SQL language - Certification in Informatica, datastage, SQL, Oracle is a plus - Healthcare knowledge is an added advantage *Hours:* 8am- 5pm.
