*Position: Senior SQL Database developer* *Duration: 1 year contract* *Location: Minneapolis, MN* Looking for local or candidates from nearby states only. *We are currently looking for a Senior SQL Database developer, having exceptional technical, collaboration and communication skills, to be part of our technical solution delivery team. Candidates will be key contributors in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting database application solutions, consistent with defined specifications and business requirements. Positions in this function are predominantly involved in developing robust database application solutions which establishes a standard set of quality and efficiency measures for healthcare providers. Measures are based on evidence-based, medical society and national industry standard specifications. Developed applications uses transparent clinical methodology, incorporating statistical methods and algorithms to enrich and analyze data to evaluate physicians across multiple specialty areas to advance safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable and patient-centered care. Candidates are also expected to be recognized database technology thought leaders and functional subject matter experts in the Healthcare Performance Measurement domain. Responsibilities Include: *Performs and participates in all required design reviews (e.g., peer reviews, business/partner reviews) Develops technical specifications/design documents as defined in application/system designs Develops application/system code as defined in technical specifications Creates unit test plans, executes unit testing and documents results to ensure that code works as designed Ensures integration with testing groups (e.g., UAT, CTP) Conducts all required reviews (e.g., code coverage, code reviews, test plan reviews), as applicable Works with database teams to evaluate and establish applicable database technical requirements Works with configuration/release management to develop release plans that ensure proper applications deployment Analyzes defects identified by operational support groups (e.g., Systems Support) for remediation and inclusion in future application/system releases Participates in the application deployment process, as needed Provides ongoing expertise to operational support groups (e.g., Systems Support) in order to address identified application problems/issues, as requested * Required Skills: *Bachelor's Degree 5 or more years of SQL Server 2008 <2008/2012/2014>/2012/2014 <2008/2012/2014> application design and development experience 5 or more years of SSIS, SQL Stored procedures development experience dealing with large volume health care data processing and analytics 5 or more years of SQL data analysis using SQL Server 2008 <2008/2012/2014> /2012/2014 <2008/2012/2014> or other compatible DBMS (Oracle, DB2, Teradata) 3 or more years of Relational database design and data modeling experience Assets: Microsoft SQL Server Certification Solid understanding of the full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with Agile/Scrum and associated practices Solid understanding of databases, SQL and data warehousing/marts Working knowledge of .NET concepts Working knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation server Working knowledge of Project Management functions Experience with Big Data platforms Experience working with team members in multiple locations, including off-shore Knowledge of Healthcare Services industry helpful Familiarity of Symmetry Episode Treatment Groups (ETG), Symmetry Procedure Episode Groups (PEG), Symmetry Episode Risk Groups(ERGs), Symmetry EBM Connect data *Other Tasks: *Identifies and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment Reviews and fully understands application/system designs Demonstrates understanding of application architecture (e.g., MS SQL Server) and how the design integrates with it Adheres to applicable enterprise development methodologies and processes Anticipates design scalability and ensures inclusion in application/system designs Ensures that application/system designs are clearly and comprehensively documented, understood and traceable back to business requirements (e.g., requirements traceability matrix) Ensures compliance with application code standards Ensures that technical specifications/design documents are clearly and comprehensively documented, understood and traceable to the application/system design (e.g., traceability matrix) Adheres to applicable enterprise development methodologies and processes (e.g., UDP, RSA, ADR, EPMO processes) Demonstrates understanding of applicable data models and enterprise data standards Identifies applicable Design Patterns for use in technical specifications/design documents Accounts for applicable security requirements in technical specifications/design documents Optimizes user experience/interface design Ensures technical compliance with applicable operating systems Ensures that technical specifications/design documents optimize application/systems performance (e.g., use of appropriate keys, indexes) Ensures appropriate integration/interface with applicable partner specifications/design documents Ensures that the deployment process is fully documented and compliant with all operational requirements for the application/system Communicates and ensures full understanding of application/system changes to applicable groups, in order to facilitate ongoing application stability Ensures that operational documentation is updated to include system maintenance/update changes Ensures that system maintenance/updates adhere to security standards Regards *Mayank* 978-558-4666 x 103 *may...@teknavigators.com* <may...@teknavigators.com> *TekNavigators LLC* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP Workflow" group.
