This resource will be 100% dedicated to the P4 project until fully implemented. Major duties include: - Consult with customers to ensure implementation is on track to meet expectations. - Responsible for a full range of complex analytical and programming activities. Perform analysis, design and programming. Develop and follow complex technical procedures - Lead technical work efforts and direct the work of others. Utilize in-depth understanding and usage of principles, theories and practices of application development and maintenance. - Design relational database tables. - Research and implement new technologies. - Estimate time, personnel, equipment for assignments; employ knowledge in systems analysis, design, and programming for client server applications. - Develop test plans for all levels of testing. Develop and execute regression, design verification, and performance tests. *Qualifications:* Skills- This position is an advanced software development role in a team environment requiring an advanced understanding of application and system development. Strong skills in application source code development, complex system integration, software configuration management, and development processes are required. Experience includes: - Required minimum of *8** years programming experience using Java/JEE* - Required minimum of three years of experience with *Oracle, XML, and Web Services* - Experience with the integrating and implementing complex technology solutions - Experience with *HTML, JSP, Servlets, EJB, RESTful Web Services, and Eclipse - Preferred * - Knowledge of industry standards including *(UML, XML, XSD, XSLT, HTML, CSS, Web Services, SOAP, REST, AJAX).* - Knowledge of software development methodologies. - Proficiency with automating manual business and IT processes. - Experience with *Software Configuration Management tools. e.g. Team Foundation Server, CVS, Subversion, or Clear Case.* - Knowledge of virtualization and cloud technologies - The ability to develop activity schedules from high level requests. - The ability to work proficiently with very minimal daily guidance. - The ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms. - Demonstrated experience in working with external technology vendors.
