UI Developer What Project/Projects will the candidate be working on while on assignment? Care Manager Is this person a sole contributor or part of a team? Part of a team If so, please describe the team? The contractor will be part of the UX Center of Excellence, but will be staffed on a project called Care Manager. The Care Manager team has a number of backend developers, a frontend UI developer, and a UX designer. What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? • Convert design comps into complex working web pages using HTML and CSS in a hand-coded environment. • Work in a template or framework driven environment that may include making modifications to existing AngularJS developed code • Have a solid focus on page speed and a good understanding of basic principles (e.g., deferring JavaScript, sprites/css, and compression/minification) • Develop standards compliant sites with a concern for accessibility, responsive design and multi-browser/multi-device compatibility • Play key role in project planning and web app design with technical, business and project leaders, planning and discussing the specifics of projects, new technologies and deadlines. What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities? • HTML/HTML5 • CSS • JavaScript • Photoshop What skills/attributes are a must have? • Must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience of 5+ years’ experience as user interface developer or front end web developer • Experience with HTML5 and CSS3 • Experience with JavaScript • Experience with JAVA a plus • Experience with AngularJS a plus • Experience with web accessibility • Experience with source code management • Experience with agile development practices • Experience working in a team environment or with an application team • Must possess strong organizational skills and excellent relationship building skills What skills/attributes are nice to have?
