Need a high level person who can do a little of everything – Someone who can be main point of contact. Need to be able to network design and have experience with tools listed below. Local would be nice but they will hire out of state candidates over the phone. Please do not send mid level candidates. *Knowledge, Skills & Abilities* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and/ or experience 7+ years Information Technology experience in the assigned specialty area Requires extensive knowledge of computer hardware architecture and operating systems in a multi-system environment. Good analytical, problem solving, decision-making, attention to detail, customer service, interpersonal and communication skills needed Develops team members through mentoring and coaching in complex subjects. Successfully serves as point of authority and/or source of technical/scientific knowledge for the specialized software Must have excellent follow-through, be self-starting and possess a high level of initiative. *IV. Networking Engineering Skills* Experience with network design, implementation and support of network routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, proxy servers and wireless infrastructure Extensive knowledge of Cisco routers and switches Extensive knowledge of wireless (Motorola and Cisco) preferred In-depth knowledge of IP routing and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP preferred) Strong background with LAN and WAN protocols (Spanning Tree, HSRP, MPLS, Frame Relay, DSL, Ethernet, 802.1q) Knowledge of ACL's Extensive experience with network management platforms and protocols such as SNMP, RMON, Solar Winds, NetFlow *V.
