*Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO): Lean Six Sigma Black Belt *

*PURPOSE OF JOB*

As the face of NSM EPMO, lead and facilitate project identification in a
pre-selected Business Unit (e.g. Default, Document Administration, Loan
Modifications, etc.), specifically deploying a Lean Six Sigma approach, to
uncover productivity and overall performance improvement projects. Working
with EPMO peers, ensure projects are integrated with other business
activities, improvement projects, and business strategy. Be the example to
leaders that a Lean Six Sigma approach is exciting, practical, and results
oriented.



*JOB DUTIES *

• Prepares ad hoc financial reports and analysis or cost benefit analysis
to support internal and external management decision-making. Interprets
complex financial information and recommends and implements solutions to
key financial and operational opportunities. Contributes to achievement of
business goals and objectives by delivering value-added business decision
support to customers and business partners across the organization.

• Leads product assignments, product pricing, product profitability and ad
hoc analysis. Acts as a valued business partner by providing informed,
proactive analysis to enable effective decision-making and efficient
resource utilization. Interacts with senior management and company
leadership, regarding the current operating state of the organization.

• Acquires and applies advanced knowledge of the business, its products and
processes and serves as a resource to team members on escalated issues.



*Minimum Requirements *

• Must be pro-active, analytical, process driven, with a strong focus on
understanding and exceeding customer expectations

• Ability to direct and lead multi-functional improvement teams. Must be a
results-oriented “change agent” who is an effective business systems thinker

• Effectively communicate with all levels to maintain relationships and
cooperation in pursuing the Business Unit’s goals. Must be able to
influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts to reach consensus around
common goals

• Understand statistical analysis tools/methodology, project management,
Lean Six Sigma, quality and basic financial principles and apply them to
analyze the planned activities

• Associate Degree, preferably in Engineering or Business, or equivalent
work experience

• 5+ years of professional level experience in leading improvement teams

• Prior supervisory experience is a plus

• Solid project management skills and team leadership skills

• Lead and completed five + Lean Six Sigma projects

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools

• Expert level with basic data analysis tools and techniques

• Working knowledge of relevant technical discipline.



Preferred

• Mortgage Default Service experience

• Mortgage Document Administration experience

• American Society for Quality Six Sigma (CSSBB or GB) and/or Lean
certification

• Comfortable with SAS JMP and SQL
