If the contractor must travel to meet this requirement, then the daily rate submitted for that contractor must include travel related expenses. Suppliers should not include travel expenses for those contractors local to the designated work location. Violation of this requirement could lead to candidate disqualification. If the supplier fails to accommodate for needed travel in the submitted daily rate after a contractor is approved/hired, the supplier will be responsible for travel expenses and Frontier will not renegotiate the daily rate. As per the supplier agreement, subcontracting resources to Frontier is not allowed without prior written approval by Frontier. Summary: The position is responsible for the successful testing of software releases for projects that will be implemented into the production environment. The position reports to the Manager of Information Technology responsible for Enterprise Testing. Responsibilities include analysis, test plan and test case development, test case execution, defect tracking and reporting. *CC&B - Customer Care and Billing, A\R, Collections, Service Orders.* Ability to work independently or as part of a larger team. Ability to work under minimal direction. Demonstrated ability to produce clear and concise documentation. Minimum 5 years of Testing experience. Prevoius Telecom Testing a plus Experience with Testing Software - HP ALM or equivalent, AS400, MS/ SQL Queries, MS/Word, MS/Excel. Understanding of various operating systems and software applications / platforms such as Windows, UNIX, Linux with different types of applications running on MS .Net, Java, and related web application framework. expertise in analyzing requirements and writing/modifying existing test cases Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Testing Methodologies Ability to work independently or as part of a larger team. Ability to work under minimal direction. A thorough understanding of project management principles and software development lifecycle. High level understanding of various Business Processes and Process flows.
