Job Title: WCF/Microsoft Sync Developer Location: Denton, TX (Dallas) Duration: 6 months Job Description: This person will be working on synchronization services between the registers at the store and from store to corporate. Migrating complex stored procedures in an ETL environment to SSIS. So the right candidate will have written complex stored procedures and utilized SSIS as the tool to migrate the data from one source to the other. Required Skills: •WCF •.NET (VB preferred but C# is good as well) •Microsoft Sync Framework •2+ years SSIS development •3+ years complex stored procedure development •Experienced in trouble shooting data issues. Desired Skills: •Someone that has developed or understands the communication piece for Microsoft Sync Framework. This will be used to transfer the data from the 3,000 stores (their POS) back to the servers at headquarters. •Basic DBA tasks: backup/restore, create physical databases, database maintenance plans. •MCTS or MCITP •SQL 2008 experience •Strong query optimization and index impact analysis skills •Experience with relational database models, data normalization, data integrity and contention management.
