*Summary:* This position is part of the IT Applications team, primarily responsible for providing technology-based solutions and daily support of data management functions. The Informatica Administrator is responsible for set up and management of the Informatica MDM, IDQ environment and ETL infrastructure. This is a professional position and is considered an individual contributor role. *Responsibilities:* - Install various Informatica applications in Windows and Linux environments - Administrate access and permissions in Informatica in alignment with best practices - Support and troubleshoot all Informatica environments and processes running on them - Work closely with ETL Development teams for building out, maintaining and monitoring the jobs - Augment production support team to ensure 24X7 environment availability - Proactively monitor and apply required bug fixes, Hot Fix releases etc. on the existing Informatica environments. - Assist other analysts in coordinating and providing all technical oversight related to respective application upgrades and patch testing and acceptance. - Forecast and plan for supporting both applications functionality and capacity requirements in a rapidly growing, changing and complex environment - Participate in code review sessions to ensure the processes follow best practices and standards - Set up a repeatable migration process and execute object migration to versioned Informatica repositories - Train and mentor other Informatica Administrators/Developers. Keep abreast of changes in Data Management and Information Technologies and processes. - Works with end users and other analysts to define, document and implement business functional requirements and coordinate activities across the various IT support groups to fulfill application support needs. - Accepts and resolves, within defined SLA metrics, operations application and data related help desk requests to meet or exceed IT support expectations. - Works closely with IT and PMO teams and business clients to provide technology-based solutions to business driven needs, including consulting assistance in the development of Data Management systems, reports, additional software functionality, etc. - Actively supports and develops IT strategy and standards company-wide. Actively participates on improvements to both Data Management and IT processes, practices & standards. - Observes and practices technical standards, guidelines and best practices in application usage, management, testing, data integration and compliance. Insures all internal control and audit requirements are met. - Maintains effective working relationships with other departments, groups, and personnel with whom work must be coordinated or interfaced. - Performs within the guidelines of policies and directives at or above company performance. *Experience and Skills:* - BS or MS degree in computer science, information management, or related field is preferred. - Strong experience in the support/operation of enterprise wide Informatica PowerCenter, IDQ and/or MDM Hub environment - At least three years of experience as an Informatica Administrator - At five years of experience using Power Center - Experienced with software development and data quality best practices - Highly familiar with both Informatica Client and Server side - Hands on experience in construction, debugging and performance tuning of highly complex Informatica jobs - Hands on experience in UNIX/LINUX environments with ability to write reusable shell scripts - Hands on experience in PL/SQL (or TSQL) to write complex database objects such as stored procedures and functions - Certification on Informatica Certified Developer or Administrator is a plus - Knowledge of Oil & Gas Operations is a plus – production, engineering and drilling information technologies, architecture methodologies, data requirements, application functionalities and processes. - Excellent communications and problem solving skills. Ability to multi-task by supporting various applications on any given day. Experience/expose to project entire life cycle and involvements in coordinating project activities are valuable.
