Hi
Note: Face to Face mandatory Position: D3 UI Developer Location; Eagan, MN Duration:12+ Months So in addition to some really great coding skills this person also needs to have excellent communication because they will be doing some white board sessions. Here is what he shared. The reason such strong communication skills are required: They’d have at least 1 1-hour working session a day (white boarding, rapid prototyping, etc.). The individual would be working with a small contingent of Rapid Prototyping developers (Team of 3, 2 are ending at the end of the month) as well as the larger User Experience group (comprised of Information Architects, User Experience Designers (wire framing, user stories, etc), and User Interface Designers (the folks that actually design the digital assets)). This project (Blue Chip) is anticipated to go until the end of 2018 and the contract would most likely be extended up to max contract length for the right person. The absolute essentials for success on this team from a technical perspective are: JavaScript (ideally with a MVC/MV* framework like Angular, although it doesn’t have to be, React (for component based architecture)) Charting framework like D3.js, or HighCharts, and ‘full-stack’ meaning that they understand how to implement web services (Restful architecture). Job Summary The Client's Legal UX team is looking for a seasoned front-end web developer to work on a high-visibility analytics project for elastic-driven data visualizations primarily using D3.js. The Rapid Prototyping Engineer will work closely with the business, technology, and UX members of the rapid prototyping team to quickly iterate through innovative and complex concepts for user testing. The key goal of the rapid prototyping team is to imagine future experiences for legal professionals and to identify the most promising data visualization techniques and interaction patterns to enable them. The team features a collaborative and hands-on approach that fosters creativity and encourages individual contribution. We are looking for a design-savvy front-end web developer who isn’t afraid to explore, to ‘fail fast’, and to push the limits of today’s datavis and front-end technologies. Responsibilities • Work closely with business, technology, and UX colleagues to define and solve complex interface problems • Establish and promote interaction and data visualization best practices, guidelines, and standards for the product portfolio • Rapidly produce prototypes for user testing and incorporate feedback from many sources into iteratively refined solutions Key Qualifications: • Good sense of user experience and UI design principles • A strong portfolio demonstrating mastery of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and XML/JSON • Experience with modern JavaScript libraries/tools (Angular JS, React, Backbone, Node JS, Gulp), visualization tools (D3.js, NvD3, C3, High), and analytics packages (Google Analytics) • Development of component-based web applications • Experience with Bootstrap, Google Web Toolkit, and version control systems (TFS and GIT) • Familiarity with back-end web technologies and services • Experience deploying to AWS and on-prem clouds • Experience implementing highly performant solutions exhibiting complex interactions, faceting, and data binding • Able to and interested in learning detailed domain knowledge quickly • Experience scraping data from existing websites and transforming it for use in rapid prototyping The ideal candidate will have organizational skills, work well under a deadline, solicit and provide regular feedback, be comfortable wearing many hats on a cross-functional team, and be highly collaborative, self-directed, and quick to take the initiative. Candidates should demonstrate an interest in data and how to visualize it in a meaningful way and the ability to integrate results into enterprise, services-driven, products and frameworks. Previous design experience is a definite plus. *Thanks& Regards* *Kumara Swamy* *Recruiting Manager* *Techpro IT Solutions INC * *Email:swam...@techproconsulting.com <email%3aswam...@techproconsulting.com>* *Desk:917-421-9330* *Gtalk ID:kumarbi...@gmail.com <id%3akumarbi...@gmail.com>* *160, Littleton road, Suit:202, Parsippany, NJ-07054* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP Workflow" group.
