Position: Senior Business Object Administrator

Location; Weehawken, New Jersey

Duration: long Term





As a Business Object Administrator, you will be working as Level 2
technical support. Your roles and responsibilities include troubleshooting,
incident management, change management, knowledge management, liaising with
multiple teams for fixing issues, automation etc.



-Administer, monitor and support different BO XI3 installations in
clustered mode on Windows and Linux

-Troubleshoot and resolve the issues faced by end users and application
teams –related to BO, webservers, SSO using Siteminder etc

-will be involved in install/upgrade of BO new versions/fixpacks and
post-installation configurations

-set up new projects in BOXI3, security and server management and user
administration

-Test the new versions of SAP BO and analyze its use/impact with respect to
the current versions.

-content migration using Import Wizard

-deployment of Web apps in Apache/tomcat and Websphere web servers and
Single SignOn (SSO)

-Handling of Incidents and problem tickets pertaining to Business Objects



-Administer, monitor and support different BO XI3 installations in

Requirements

- 6+ years of relevant experience in Business Objects XI3 administration.

- Excellent knowledge in BOXI3 Security, Architecture, Single-SSO,
Webservers

- Ability to work on Unix and Windows based platforms.

- Experience in clustered environment.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Working experience in production support environment.

- Excellent team player

Preferences

-Bachelor's degree

-Familiarity with ITIL concepts.

-Knowledge of webserver related issues.
