Position : Windows Systems Admin / Engineer
Location : San Antonio, TX
Duration : 2+ Years
*Description:*
Client in San Antonio is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator / Windows
Systems Engineer / Windows Administrator / Windows Engineer.
This is a long term, 2+ year contract with extensions. The Systems
Administrator must have hands-on experience with day-to-day Windows and
Linux operations with application installation, support, testing, and
troubleshooting skills, deployment and configuration experience, and
virtualization experience.
*Below is what the manager wants:*
- The candidates will be working 80% in Windows, and 20% in Linux (so if
they have Linux, that is a big plus).
- Currently working on Windows 2008 but moving to Window 2012;
- Needs to have VMware experience;
- If they have experience with any of these configuration management
automation tools (Cobbler, Blade logic, Puppet) it is a plus
- SQL Server DB (knowledge but not an expert);
- PM skills (be able to manage projects);
- Linux Sys Admin skills (not an expert, just know command instructions)
