Duration : 6+ Months Contract*
*Must-haves*BS Degree in Computer Science or Related field
3-6+ years Java/J2EE experience
Strong hands-on knowledge of Java EE or spring framework (expertise in any
one while reasonable familiarity with other is a must, expertise in both is
a big plus)
Strong hands-on knowledge of one or more ORM technologies like Hibernate,
JPA.
Strong understanding of service oriented architecture and design in
developing software ground-up on SOA principles (both in SOAP and REST
world)
*Plusses*Experience as a lead developer
Prior Experience with Commercial software development and/or healthcare
industry experience
Sound understanding of core OOPS as well as JEE Design patterns as well as
their implementation in real world applications.
Experience with Agile Methodology
Experience with XML/JSON and developing SOAP and REST services using Apache
CXF or a comparable framework.
Experience with Java Messaging
Strong experience in projects requiring application re-engineering,
modernization
Relatively good understanding of SQL, relational database modeling and
design
Experience in creating software design artifacts using UML diagrams
Knowledge of testing frameworks like Mockito, Spock etc.
Experience with Maven
Experience with any popular rule engine or a BPM tool (direct experience
with Drools or IBM iLog is a big plus)
Experience with AMQP
Experience with EJB (Message driven beans)
Experience with one or more NoSQL Databases
Experience in JSTL, Spring web/MVC taglib as well as developing and
maintaining custom tag libraries.
Experience with Groovy
Experience with WebSphere application server and familiarity with
development using JEE Liberty profile.
Independent/go-getter attitude to keep yourself well-versed with new
evolving technologies in application development landscape.
*Day-to-Day*Working on the claims adjudication, claims processing systems
Designs, codes, tests, debug, and documents software, and enhance existing
components to ensure that software meets business needs.
Contributor to the design and architecture to enable secures, scalable, and
maintainable software and should be able to understand and implement the
architectural and design direction provided by technology leadership
