This is Jasleen from Maxonic Milestone Management. We are a staffing
company based in SF Bay Area.
We currently have an immediate requirement for a Linux Administrator
in Emeryville, CA. This is a 6 months contract position.
Skills required include:
• Linux/UNIX installation, configuration, upgrades, performance
tuning, capacity planning, backups and recoveries
• Strong understanding and experience in Linux RHEL in a global
enterprise environment
• In depth knowledge of configuration management tools such as Chef,
Puppet
• Able to work on daily tickets as well as ongoing projects
• Experience with Virtualization layer environment (VMware, HyperV …)
• Build and support both Physical and VMware Virtual systems
• Writing shell scripts and kickstart scripts for automated builds
• Experience supporting Oracle RAC server infrastructure
• Experience with NIS / Centrify for user account management
• Experience with installing, troubleshooting, doing firmware upgrades
(HP, DELL chassis/standalone HW)
• Experience with system patching / RPM repository (RH Satellite)
Experience with Splunk ( monitoring and analyzing systems data
Additional information:
• Interview requirements: Phone hire for Non locals candidates
