*POSITION 1: Business Intelligence ( BI ) & Data warehousing DW Business
Analyst / Downers Grove, IL / Pay rate : $55/hr All Inc / 6+ months *
*Note:* The previous resumes were more focused on *OBIEE*, etc., but lacking
in BA experience. The manager is mainly looking for a strong *business
analyst*. This resource is needed as soon as possible.
· 8+ years experience as an I.T. *Business Analyst* with design and
*data* modeling accounta*bi*lities
· 3+ years experience working in a *data* management capacity
· 3+ years within *business intelligence* implementation project(s)
· A*bi*lity to quickly understand business process and operations in
a large enterprise environment
· A*bi*lity to facilitate requirement sessions with different levels
of management across multiple business units
· Excellent communication (written and oral), presentation and
interpersonal skills
· Must bring knowledge and experience of data warehousing / *business
intelligence *best practices
· Past implementation experience utilizing *OBIEE*, SOA and Tera*
data*
· Experience with *data*base and *data* analysis technology
· Proficient with SQL
· A*bi*lity to work creatively and analytically utilizing strong
problem solving skills
· A*bi*lity to define performance measurement needs
· A*bi*lity to develop product requirements based on input gathered
from a variety of sources including analysis results and feedback from the
user community
· A*bi*lity to capture business, technical and operational
requirements and create / communicate *business intelligence* specifications
(ETLs, cubes,analytics)
· Continually align *business intelligence* project requirements to
broader IT and *business intelligence* strategies and architectures
· Serve as liaison to the business community, to ensure that its
needs are fully understood by the project team
