CCNA certified Network Engineer
6-9 month Contract
Location: Location: Herndon, VA
Rate: $50/hr
Visa: Gc/EAD-GC/USC
Face toi Face only(No Skype
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain iDirect Satellite Networks for lab services
• Troubleshoot, triage and correct network issues
• Support proof of concept activities
• Perform various traffic tests
• Write Python modules to support automated testing
Skills or Experience required include:
• Expert in networking technologies with industry and regional
knowledge and experience. (2 or more years’ experience)
• Must have strong skills in troubleshooting and problem resolution
in a network environment.
• Excellent inter-personal, technical presentation and
communications skills.
• Ability to configure Cisco routers (Cisco certified), switches,
firewalls, MPLS and VLANs
• Has worked with network security concepts and configuration
• Experience/familiarity with network protocols
• Solid knowledge and experience of Core Routing and Switching
design, configuration, and troubleshooting, and usage of Cisco Products and
Best Practices
• Experience in implementing, administering, and troubleshooting
network infrastructure devices, including: firewalls, routers, switches,
and monitoring applications
Skills or experience desired include
• Experience with server virtualization, like VMWare
