Conversion developers write the code necessary to convert data from legacy
applications into the Guidewire applications.
Keyactivities include:
• Collaborating with Guidewire and Clients personnel on conversion design.
• Collaborating with business analysts or the data analyst on data
mappingbetween Guidewire and legacy systems.
• Writing programs necessary to support migration of legacy applications
toGuidewire applications.
• Resolving issues identified in testing.
REQUIREMENTS:
• System Development Methodology, tools, and techniques experience.
• Experience working as a part of an Agile development team.
• Experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) technologies, and/or
Javadevelopment experience.
• Experience with other modern technologies, such as SQL, XML, and
scriptinglanguages.
• Experience with SQL Server SSIS and Java.
• Experience with large data conversions on an enterprise level project.
PREFERRED:
• Property and Casualty Insurance industry experience.
• Experience with the Guidewire application and data conversions.
