*Position: ATG Developer*
*Location: Woonsocket RI, OR Florham Park NJ, OR Chicago IL on-site*
*Duration: 6 months*
*JOB RESPONSIBILITIES *
Implement customizations and extensions to ATG Commerce; create product
catalog hierarchy, promotions and personalization, order fulfillment and
tracking. Independently create ATG deliverables with quality build and
deployment processes and follow laid down coding guidelines that insure the
necessary health of the overall solution.
Share knowledge, improve processes and develop systematic solutions to
problem patterns.
Develop Digital Commerce experiences based on a foundation of ATG Commerce
platform.
Develop awesome features such as product catalog, search, order management,
promotions, registration, store locator, social ecommerce.
Use Productivity and code quality tools to create production grade code and
design deliverables.
Setup ATG development environments, module layering and build scripts
Diagnose and solve technical problems related to commerce and ATG
implementation.
Write application code that exceeds the defined quality standards.
*SKILL REQUIREMENTS*
Mastery of J2EE specifically JSP, Servlet, MVC Pattern, Eclipse and ANT.
Good understanding of object oriented programming, relational databases.
Deep understanding of the ATG deployment considerations specific to
Websphere Application Server or JBoss.
Proficient in ATG core and commerce foundational concepts and has
experience & knowledge of form handlers, Droplets, ATG repositories,
Servlet pipelines, content administration, personalization and scenario
development, Catalog, Order, Pricing, promotions, Inventory and checkout
processes.
*EXPERIENCE *
Overall experience of 3 to 5 years of experience with 2 years of ecommerce
experience working with one or more ecommerce packages.
18 months of ATG experience in the last 2 years on ATG relationship
Management and ATG Commerce.
