*Description*:
Healthcare Client in St. Louis is searching for a Hadoop Architect to join
their Big Data team in Sunset Hills, MO.
*Primary Responsibilities*
- Develop scalable batch and real-time ingestion solutions based on Big
Data technologies
- Work closely with BI technologies such as SAP Hana/Business Objects,
Qlik, etc.
- Develop software to integrate distributed and relational database
solutions.
- Work to establish and refine Hadoop/Hana architecture.
*Knowledge and Skill Requirements*
- Experience using ETL technologies and Big Data technologies
- Understanding of Data architecture
- Strong experience using: Java, Spark, Hive, HBase, Spark and other
Hadoop related tools
*Other Valuable Skills*
- Understanding of database and analytical technologies in the
Healthcare industry including Data Warehouse design, BI reporting and
Dashboard development
- Experience working with real-time or near real-time ingestion
- Experience working with the Hortonworks stack
- Agile/Scrum methodologies
